Day 1 - Thursday 6th May: Eating! | |

All day Earthrounder participants arrive at their convenience and check in to the Royal Tulip Brasilia Alvorada Hotel. 17:30 Registration and Sundowners at hotel pool, down beside the lake 20:00 "Fogo de Chão" churrascaria. Churrascarias are typically Brazilian barbeque restaurants, but there is a large salad buffet and other choices for non-meat eaters. After dinner, a drive down the Esplanada to see Brasilia by night. |
Day 2 - Friday 7th May. Brasilia. Boating! | |

09:00 Floating roundtable aboard the "Imagination", with coffee break 12:30 Lunch on board, on the lake 13:30 Disembark. Drive to Don Bosco blue church 14:30 Group divides: those interested can attend an invitation to the Civil Aviation Authority, others to Gem Museum/TV tower (for semi-aerial view of the city) and handicraft market. 16:30 All parties arrive back at hotel for some free time 19:30 Dinner at surprise location |
Day 3 - Saturday 8th May. Flight-seeing ! | |

09:30 Depart for APUB, local ultralight airstrip for city sight-seeing flights offered by local pilots and barbeque lunch at the club.
Alternative programme for non-flyers: visit to Burle Marx gardens, and join rest of the group at aeroclub for lunch. 15.00 Return to hotel. 16.00 Earthrounders' tennis championship! Hotel tennis courts 17.00 Second Roundtable at hotel poolside bar. 20.00 Gourmet dinner suggestion (optional participation) and/or Brazilian music night |
Day 4 -Sunday 9th May. Racing! | |

09:00 Complete city tour: Oscar Niemeyer's most recently completed work, the Museu Nacional (2007), the Cathedral,
Tres Poderes Square, Itamaraty building etc. 12:30 Lunch at "Oca da Tribo" 14:30 Earthrounders go-karting championship. (15-minute races, with 12 competitors each time) 17:00 Third roundtable (hotel pub) Evening free |
Day 5 -Monday 10th May. Trekking! | |

08:30 Depart for Chapada Imperial (50 kms, 1 hour's drive), variety of bush treks of 1-4 hours depending on stamina. Swimwear and hiking boots or trainers required. 12:00 Picnic lunch by the river Return to hotel by 16:30 19:30 Pick-up for farewell dinner chez Moss. Passing of Earthrounders' flag to host of next reunion. |
Day 6 -Tuesday 11th May : participants depart | |
