Wing Commander Rahul Monga of the Indian Air Force departed Dehli on June 1 and is presently in China with an ultralight aircraft.
Paul Moyle departed on April 26 fom the UK, and is presently in Thailand in a Saratoga.
Farhad Rostampour and Arshid Moti-Ghavanin, started on June 2 a record-breaking flight around the world with a F33TC Bonanza.

June 28, 2007: Congratulations to Barrington Irving for the successful completion of his RTW, becoming, as he put it himself, "the first person of African descent and the youngest pilot" to have done it. He landed on Wednesday 27, at Opa-locka airport in Florida.

June 23, 2007: Bad news for Avgas: It appears the Avgas shortage in Indonesia could be resolved "circa June 26". Thank you to Mike of White Rose Aviation for the news.
Some concern too from a message from Alfred Ledermann telling of contaminated Avgas from Milas-Bodrum (LTFE),Turkey.

Carstensen will soon fly the second half of his TRW, while Robert Gannon is seeking the blessings of the Cristo Redentor in Rio.

June 12, 2007: Congratulations to Peter Mennel and Reinhard Flatz for successfuly completing their RTW. They flew their last leg back to Hohenems (LOIH) where they took off 14 days ago on the May 28, 2007. They flew 83 houres, one of the fastest RTW. More...

June 8, 2007: Another circimnavigator has swung through South America recently - in general, a rare choice of routing. On June 3rd, Wojciech Mirski visited Earthrounders Hans Kampik in Belo Horizonte and Gérard Moss in Brasilia, and is now heading up through the Caribbean and the States on his way back to Switzerland.

June 5, 2007: Farhad Rostampour, a US based pilot and his UK based co-pilot, Arshid Moti-Ghavanin, started on June 2 a record-breaking flight around the world with a F33TC Bonanza. June 1, 2007: On 24th April 2007, Manuel Queiroz was presented with one of the world's greatest aviation awards, the Britannia Trophy by the President of the Royal Aero Club of the United Kingdom, HRH The Duke of York at the Royal Air Force Club in Piccadilly, London.
Last year, he flew solo around the world in just 39 days in a single-engine aeroplane, becoming the first and only pilot to circumnavigate the globe in a British-registered homebuilt aircraft.

Norman Livingstone (Norm) and Vajee Misakawan (Lec) departed Boundary Bay Airport, Vancouver for Juneau Alaska on the first leg of their RTW trip. They will spend 2 weeks in Alaska before heading East across Canada then over the North Atlantic to Scandinavia. Wishing them fair winds and kind weather.

May 8, 2007: Congratulations to Arnim Stief and Markus Henkell who completed their Round the World Flight with their Cirrus SR 22 N241PK on Thursday 3, 2007. They arrived at 07:03 pm at Egelsbach airport (now called Frankfurt-Egelsbach) in Germany and were welcomed by a big crowd of friends and the press. They totally flew 208 hours on their trip and got over a distance of about 52000 km. The plane always performed well over the whole trip.

May 7, 2007: We are still awaiting the final programme of the meeting to be held in South Africa in early March 2008 (dates to be confirmed soon), but if you are planning on taking a commercial flight there, you might like to think about hiring a plane and doing some local flying before or after the event. April 29 2007: The Bonanza registration CS-AZI ("Alice 19") that belonged to intrepid Portuguese wheelchair aviator, António Faria e Mello, in which he made two circumnavigations (the last one during the Earthrounders meeting in Perth, in 2003) has been donated to the Museu do Ar, in Sintra, Portugal, by his family.

April 25, 2007: More RTWs in the planning: The Indian Air Force will be conducting an eastward RTW in a CTSW microlight, starting June 1 with a crew of two - Wing Commander Rahul Monga (Captain) and Wing Commander Anil Kumar.

While a group of pilots plans their RTW in 2008 with 4 home-built twin engine Air Cams. They will fly from Israel via Cyprus, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazachastan, China, Japan, Russia(Kamchatka), Alaska, Canada, USA, Greenland, Faeroe-Islands, Norway, Denmark, across Europe to Greece, and back to Israel via Cyprus..

April 22, 2007: Hearfelt congratulations to Jennifer and Colin for reaching the North Pole by helicopter. Wishing them a safe flight back home.

April 08, 2007: Earthrounders Webmaster Claude Meunier met famous Earthrounders Gaby Kennard (RTW 1989) in Sydney and Cliff Tait (RTW 1969) in Auckland NZ, as well as "Earthrounder to be" Bill Charney, with his beautifull Staggerwing, at the Omaka Airshow in New Zealand.

Wojciech Mirski has arrived in Chili after a successful crossing of the South Pacific from Tahiti.
Barrington Irving is in St John's, Canada, waiting for better weather.
Jens Abilgaard has reached Hilo in Hawaii, and is going well.
Jennifer Murray and Collin Bodill have reached Resolute where they met with some bad weather.
U. T. Carstensen and S. Rothammel are in Singapore and are going well.
