General remarks about your flight:
After reaching the American Westcoast on my way east, I flew to Kerrville, Texas, where Mooney Aircraft offered me to ferry factory new airplanes to their Germany dealer. When I arrived in Germany August 5, 1975 I actually flew another Mooney with the German registration DECEM. My own RTW aircrat (N9608V) I flew back late december 1975 arriving home January 2, 1976. I didn't include these extra five months, because my personal impression and the reaction of people I met amounted to the overall judgment, that the RTW was completed when reaching Germany soil in August 1975 with the Mooney DECEM.
Longest leg (timewise) American Samoa to Hawaii: 21:31 hours
