Day 2 - Friday 14th May. Brasilia

09:00 Floating roundtable with coffee break (boat)
12:00 Lunch location , fish restaurant by the lake
14:00 Drive down main esplanade to get a feel for the city, visit Niemeyer's famous Cathedral and on to SIVAM
15:30 Visit to SIVAM, Amazonia aerial vigilance programme.
17:30 Arrive back at Hotel
20:00 Dinner Fogo de Chao churrascaria and Brasilia by night |
Day 3 - Saturday 15th May. Flight-seeing Brasilia

09:00 Depart for APUB, local ultralight airport in Brasilia for another round-table session at the club, followed by city sight-seeing flights offered by
local pilots and churrasco (barbeque) at the club.
9:30 Later departure option for those not attending round-table, visit to TV tower (for semi-aerial view of the city), Gem Museum and local handicraft
market at its base, then join rest of the group at APUB airport for flying/churrasco lunch.
14:30 return to hotel , free for relaxation
20:30 Night on the town: dinner options will be presented:- Gourmet ($$$), Italian, Brazilian, Japanese, French, cheapo,
transport to respective restaurants. Participants can sign up for restaurant of their choice (own expense).

Day 4 -Sunday 16th May. Brasilia

09:00 Complete city tour, visiting Niemeyer’s most recently completed work, the Museu Nacional (2007), the "Blue Church", Tres
Poderes Square and 50th anniversary exhibitions.
12:30 Lunch at "Oca do Tribu"
Siesta - free lazy afternoon
17:00 Additional round-table can be arranged

Day 5 -Monday 17th May. Adventure program

08:30Depart for Itaquira waterfalls (169 metres (three times higher than Niagara) near Formosa,
115 kms from Brasilia or Chapada Imperial nearb, get the swimsuits and hiking boots on (at least, no high heels allowed!)
Lunch on the road
Social scene: visit to a school for children who live at the Guara landfill site. Their parents survive by combing through rubbish.
Return to hotel by 17:00
20:00 Leave hotel for farewell dinner at surprise location. Passing of Earthrounders flag to host of next reunion.
