(*) I took over the airplane with the registration N3683H at the plant of Mooney Aircraft in Kerrville, Texas, and flew first thing to Barnsville, Ohio. the place of business of the Mooney dealer. After completing the legal transaction, I left Westbound on my RTW flight. When reaching Karlsruhe, Germany, I sold the aircraf to a German individual. He had the Mooney registered in Germany as DEESU. In April 1983, I flew the aircraft form Germany to Lampton Field, CA for wing and tail modifications passing throught Barnsville, Ohio on April 14, 1983. The leg across the North Atlantic took 5 days. Those and the distance flown I added to the major part of the trip in 1980-81.
