SOUTH AFRICA MEETING 2008 March , 2008 |
Flying in South Africa Dear Earthrounders, I was introduced to Earthrounders by a aviator and friend Jorge Cornish from Mexico. Some years back he came to South Africa to fly safari out here, and I arranged his self-pilot flying safari along with a group of other aviators. We visited diverse and remote geographical regions and fantastic wildlife reserves flying into the small strips and being hosted superbly by the wildlife lodges and guides, over 10 - 12 days. Victoria Falls and Cape Town were also on the agenda and Jorge can tell you more about it all! Jorge is planning to be at the Earthrounders SA summit in March next year and tells me that Frank Hettlich's family are also planning to make the trip out here. I would be happy to host a self-pilot safari for those who would be keen on visiting some of the unique attractions, whilst they are out this way; and am discussing just this opportunity now, with Jorge who is keen to do some local flying again. If the group ends up being 12 or more, then we will also arrange for all the pilots to get some "stick time" in a DC3! We focus on exclusive group, escorted self-pilot safaris - check out www.aerosafari.com for more detailed info. You may like to include this offer to assist in your website somehow and we can co-ordinate it this end. Safe passage!
