Leg 13:  Visits within Europe:

After a rest in Crete, I will begin visiting several smaller Greek islands to get a flavor of Greece and island living.  

Moving north, I will start a tour of Italy by stopping first in Sardinia and second in Vincenza where I have a cousin.

After Italy, visits are planned to Switzerland and France where I have numerous friends who will be having their "bateme de l'air" (introductory flight) around Sens, south of Paris.  Then northward to Belgium.  It's fun having friends and family all over.  Many young kids will be getting their Young Eagles certificates for taking their first flight with me.  I'm looking forward to those as the kids are always so enthusiastic.

My next stop will be across the English Channel to England where I have cousins and colleagues.  I'll be visiting Crowborough, Thame, Stone, Leceister, Huddersfield and Manchester before crossing to Birr, Ireland to visit other relatives.  

I will then continue on to Aberdeen, Scotland where I have friends and will be giving more Young Eagles rides.   My last stop is Wick, departure point for the North Atlantic crossing, where I pick up additional survival gear.
